7pm bedtime

My 12 week old goes to bed at 7pm and wakes for his 3am feed. I feel like this is too early. If we try and put him to bed later he gets very fed up. We are facing early wake ups though. Is 7pm too early for bed?

My 8 month old has his bottle and usually in bed between 7-7:30. If I leave him any longer he’s gets so miserable. He wakes up for the day at 6 so 7pm is a reasonable bedtime for that really I think xxx

We put our little one to bed between 7-8pm, he tends to sleep until roughly 1am. We've tried to give him a feed later on, but he isn't interested. He is also 12 weeks x

From 3 months they can start to get in a routine so I’d say its perfect. Maybe try and perfect nap times as much as you can and it will help with over night sleep. That’s what I did the second my LG turned 3 months got her in a strict routine and bed time was always 7 and once she started having properly scheduled naps she slept better over night and woke a little later xx

My son goes to bed about 8.30 usually. If you want bedtime to be later you need to try and shift it by 15 mins or so each time. Eventually it’ll be later!

My son is 14 weeks. He goes to bed between 6:30-7. He then wakes around 4am for a feed and then goes back to sleep until 7:30.

There is a baby book I read which recommends putting a baby to bed around 7

7-8 is reasonable my youngest goes to bed around that time and wakes up at 3-4am for a feed

this is pretty much what we do! Thank you x

What am I doing wrong?! I have 7, 11, 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 am 🥴 also 12 weeks breast fed ... I'm dying here

Avatar

your doing nothing wrong at all 🫶🏻 it’s very possible baby is cluster feeding and going through a developmental growth but my son woke up every 2 hours sometimes less for a really long time. He’s 8months old now and still wakes up for a feed 2-3 times a night, also totally normally. He’s going through a growth so his sleep has been disturbed for the last couple of weeks. It does get better, it might not seem like it but it will. I was in your position a few months back and thought I was never coming out the other side but we’re getting there xx

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Baby with chronic congestion

Hi everyone! My 1 year has been a congested baby since birth almost. She breathes through her mouth so often that it wakes her up multiple times at night and she cries and screams and then struggles to go back to sleep. She wakes up every 1-3 hours and sometimes can’t go back to sleep for 2-3 hours!!! Piriton is the only thing that seems to help her sleep mostly through the night but I can’t keep giving her that!!
Does anyone have tips as to have I can do or give her? Has anyone experienced? I have no idea when I’ll get an ENT appointment and I have no idea what he can give a 13 mo :( we are desperate for sleep so any tips are welcome!! We have tried steam inhalation, saline drops, vapour rubs and everything off the counter basically!
