I'm getting some awful nights as well. 5 times last night. I wanted to cry! I have no clue how many times during the day, on average every 2hours I'd say.

13 weeks here and she feeds anywhere from 8-12 times during the day but has her last feed around 11pm and goes until around 7am without feeding

Wow Donna, that's amazing! Mine was sleeping 5 or 6 hours straight at around 8 weeks but now it has become very rare and then the second part of the night she wakes up every hour or so.

I’m so sorry, that really sucks! 🤞🏽 for some good sleep for you soon.
we’ve been really lucky and she’s been sleeping through the night since around 7 weeks. I’m not holding my breath though. I’m sure when the 4 month sleep regression hits, it will all change again 😅

I’m honestly not sure haha I gave up tracking them when he was piling on the weight. Probably around 10 times a day as he generally eats when he wakes up and before he naps again, plus maybe one or two overnight.

14 week baby, typically 1-2 times in the night, and 5-6 times in the day. She could easily sleep through the night with one or no feed but I intentionally wake her up to feed because she struggled with gaining weight in the early days and I'm still paranoid as she's growing on the 0.4 percentile. I also read that night milk is very good for baby.

15 week old - feeds 5 times in the day and 2 times overnight typically.

Probably every 2-3 hours in the day, now and then it will be less. Most often waking once at night

13 weeks- 2/4 hourly during the day and now he sleeps through the night but used to just wake up once for a feed

I'm so glad you're in the same boat. Im awake all night ... Little boy just wants to feed constantly day and night

Avatar

11 weeks old: 1-3 feeds overnight and every 2-3 hours during the day

Avatar

My boy has only started stretching from 2hourly feeds to 2.5-3 hourly feeds in the day. At night, he wakes up every 2-3 hours still 😭 I can’t wait till he can do longer stretches! He is 12 weeks

Avatar

Nearly 14 weeks, generally 7 or 8 feeds in 24hrs

Avatar

my lg wakes up every 2-3 h religiously to feed during the night. Glad to hear she is not the inly one. Have heard this is very normal, helps with weight gain and protects against SIDS

Avatar

very interesting and curoious - why is the night milk very good for babies?

The only thing i ve heard that it relaxes and helps them sleep but interested to know more even if just for motivation to pull through

Would recommend reading this whole article for those waking up at night to feed x

14 weeks, typically 6-7 feeds in 24 hours. She does a stretch from her last feed in the evening, 9pm until about 4am and then every 3 hours

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

Baby with chronic congestion

Hi everyone! My 1 year has been a congested baby since birth almost. She breathes through her mouth so often that it wakes her up multiple times at night and she cries and screams and then struggles to go back to sleep. She wakes up every 1-3 hours and sometimes can’t go back to sleep for 2-3 hours!!! Piriton is the only thing that seems to help her sleep mostly through the night but I can’t keep giving her that!!
Does anyone have tips as to have I can do or give her? Has anyone experienced? I have no idea when I’ll get an ENT appointment and I have no idea what he can give a 13 mo :( we are desperate for sleep so any tips are welcome!! We have tried steam inhalation, saline drops, vapour rubs and everything off the counter basically!

Combi feeding advice

Has anyone gone from EBF to combi feeding? Currently do one bottle of EBM per night and they one half formula half breast milk mixed in the day. The other times she still feeds on me. Ideally I want to feed all day via bottle and all night with breast. She’s 7 weeks and takes a bottle well, how long should I leave it before adding another bottle to her daily routine?
