No interest in finger food?

My LO is 7 months old & is the same, just keep putting it on their highchair & keep offering your LO bits they will eventually get the hang of it x

They’re all so different. My first son wouldn’t feed himself and still won’t at 4 😂 my second son who is 8 months is the opposite!! I prefer feeding them personally so you can get them to eat a good amount!

Thank you both! I’ll keep offering, I don’t mind feeding him but I don’t want him to only want purées

My first born was fine, he was happy to grab food & feed himself, my little girl would much rather be fed and isn’t interested in picking food up x

As he gets older you can gradually change the texture like the pouches and you can just adapt with him. They all get there in the end 😊
