I play almost a baby version of hide and seek where I’ll hide around the corner and she’ll crawl around and “find me” We also read a lot of books and I will sometimes put some paint in a ziploc bag on her high chair to let her do some no-mess painting
Now the weather has been decent picnics, libraries and play dates with local moms
A kiddie pool! We use a little inflatable one he loves it a few toys in it he will play in it or outside of it Or microwave some marshmallows til they get big and my son loved pulling and stretching it
Following!!
I’m in the same situation
Picnics are so fun though that’s what we have been doing on a daily now that the weather is nice 😊
We live in an area with a lot of museums and baby/toddler play things. I honestly love the library too. During the week I try and go to as many baby things as I can with him. At home we practice walking. I chase him down the apartment buildings carpeted hallways while he crawls, he chases me too. We sing/ dance, he loves music and loves our little travel bose speaker because he can hold it and feel the vibrations. When I’m in the kitchen he helps me load and unload the dishwasher by just kinda hanging onto the sides and observing. We let him open and shut the doors and drawers in the kitchen too, we moved all the dangerous stuff high up. Loves a pot and pan. Kitchen is really fun tbh and I can get a lot of stuff done while he messes around in there. Also plays in the fridge takes food out puts it back opens drawers. We go to the park a few times a week with the blanket and have a picnic. Grass and sticks are fun. When we don’t know what to do I try and find a playground or water.
Check out your local library for story time. It's a great way to interact with other babies. Ours divide it based on age.
