I sent this to someone the other day. Might be helpful. ADHD in a 3-Year-Old Think: Movement, impulsivity, and short attention span Possible Signs: Constantly on the move — running, climbing, rarely sitting still Struggles to focus even briefly on a game or story Talks a lot (if verbal) — may interrupt frequently Impulsive — grabs toys, runs off, doesn’t wait turn Easily distracted — switches from one toy to another very quickly Doesn’t seem to listen or follow instructions (but may understand them) Can be emotionally intense (big tantrums, frustration quickly triggered) Often mistaken for: “Just being a handful” or “a busy toddler” At age 3, it’s more about noticing patterns over time than making a firm diagnosis. Theyndont usually diagnose ADHD before age 6. But if you suspect it. Start tracking every behaviour in an app or notebook.
How old is your son? My daughter not long turned 2 and prior to that I’ve always noticed how hyper she was, experiencing the same thing. Absolutely non stop! However I have ADHD & know there is a chance she could have it. Do you or your son’s father have ADHD?
