I wait until she is deeply asleep and unlatches on her own. I get it though, especially if you want to change positions or just put them down once asleep 🫠

i’ve tried that too and he wakes up as soon as i move him😩

Hi! My babe is four weeks and experienced similar earlier on but not quite as bad. Have you done a weighted feed? I think my baby was getting enough to not be hungry but I wasn’t producing enough to like fully satisfy her and so she wanted to nurse a lot!!!! A lot! But she would fall asleep because she wasn’t starving but the second she woke she’d want back on because she wasn’t completely full. I started supplementing some and now it’s not that at all. Not saying your baby isn’t getting enough but maybe do a weighted feed with lactation consultant to see? Or offer a bottle with pumped milk after he nurses and see if he drinks it/stays off your boob after.

i second this. that was exactly what was happening with my daughter too

thank you so much for this, i started supplementing and he is like a whole different baby! i honestly was skeptical about if he was getting enough but he was gaining weight and getting enough wet/dirty diapers so i wanted to just trust that my body knew what it was doing. im so glad i came on here and asked!

this was me too! I was hesitant and knew she was getting enough milk that she wasn’t going hungry but I think the extra added just satisfied her more for longer. So glad it worked for you as well 🫶🏼

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
