£5.50 an hour. From when they turn one an additional £3 a day for food x

£8.50 an hour (I’m in London) and we send little one with everything she needs for the day including food. We only need one paid for hour a week the rest is covered by funding

£5 an hours I pay

£85 a day/ £8.50 an hour includes 3 meals and 2 snacks we just provide nappies/ suncream. It’s a between a nursery and a childminder though she’s technically a childminder and it’s billed as ‘childminding services’ but there are two childminders, 2 assistants and 9 children in a purpose built outhouse x

There’s an app called “Childcare” which has all of the Ofsted registered childminders in your area. It also shows their rate and availability and rating and reviews from other service users. It’s really good and helpful with knowing what you can afford and who you would like to care for your child

We are paying £6 an hour but we have to provide lunch and dinner and her nappies etc but she does include trips out in the hourly rate and they go out atleast twice a week. We are in Lincolnshire

£8 hourly for mine but we provide snacks, packed lunch, nappies, wipes and cream. We’re based in Buckinghamshire. We do use 15 free hours and tax free childcare too

I’m not from the UK but these prices are just 😯

£5.50 an hour. We had to provide nappies and food originally but now he’s out of nappies and she just feeds him along with the rest of them so I don’t provide anything apart from a change of clothes 😂☺️

@Alana where do you live? Are the prices more expensive?

Cheaper! I live in Canada and they have a program for daycares (though not all daycares apply for the funding so it’s not all places but some). So ours is $21.75 a day or $478.50/month. In pounds it would be £11/day or £260 the whole month approximately. All food included. You have to provide your own diapers and if you are providing breastmilk or formula. But 7am-5/6pm. I’d have to double check time.

@Alana my bill is £224 a month BUT I do have 15 free hours and tax free childcare which is basically I put in 80% and the government automatically tops up 20%

@Lucie oh that’s good! I guess the main difference is we don’t have to apply for anything as parents. I don’t know if there are grants or funding available for families - should probably look into that haha.

£10/hr (London) but breakfast/lunch/snacks are included

Wow Canada it is what you pay a month is nearly the equivalent of 1 week here!
