My daughter is nearly 10 months old and starting nursery next month. I want to send my daughter in with lunches so I know shes eating healthy meals but I'm honestly so lost as to what to put in her little bento lunch box that will keep till lunch time and doesnt need reheating. Ive been doing loads of baby led weaning at home, but I tend to make it fresh or pull stuff from the freezer I've previously made and defrost and reheat.
Could you show me some of the lunches you've been giving your baby? Or have you been been letting the nursery deal with the food?

Typically nurseries have really healthy menus and we get given them so we always know what they’re eating for breakfast, snack, lunch, tea etc. Warm lunch meals too. I would just ask for a menu and try that out you might be surprised and seems like one less thing to worry about

I considered doing lunches as our nursery has very recently allowed the option of opting out of paying for the meals and allowing cold lunch and tea taken in but to be honest. The meals are healthier than I would be able to make in a cold lunch and tea.
All I've done is put the stipulation on that it's no sweet puddings. So her pudding there is fruit or yoghurt. They also tell us what she's had and how much of it she's eaten.

Buy a thermo flask, there are loads of different ones on the market, that way she can still have her usual and no worry about heating it up etc

Have you seen what their menu is? Usually nurseries have a rolling menu of 3-4 weeks and they change it depending on the season. All our food is homemade on site. I never even considered making lunch for my son, tbh one of the benefits of sending them to nursery is all their food is sorted. I’d go and speak with the nursery and see the chef and kitchen as it’ll save you a ton of hassle if you just let her eat there. Plus she’ll be eating the same as everyone else which is typically good as it’s a bit of a pack mentality with kids.
