When did you shave over the scar ?
Hi, I’m 4 weeks postpartum and wondering if I can shave over my c section scar ? I have shaved around it but not sure when it safe to shave over it lol

I haven’t shaved over mine I’m scared to
And I had my daughter June 24th 2023
I started shaving it when the scab was gone
Mine took a while for me to get confidence but it was totally fine when I did.
I waited until the scab was gone and even then I was so scared to do it!
With my first, I did it when the scabs were off and it wasn’t red or looking angry 😅 I just went over it lightly and it was fine. I’m only 3 weeks PP after my second and still got scabs so haven’t shaved over it this time yet!
About 8 weeks I think. Now 10months pp and do it all the time.
I waited till the scab had gone then just very gently ‘brushed’ over it with a razor and just kept doing it gently until it felt less tingly over time! Xx
