Shein uses slaves from concentration camps. That's why it's so cheap.

I’ve just brought some stuff. The skirt the linning was longer than the skirt. The material isn’t great quality. It was quite fast the delivery. It’s a shame as I really like the clothes just not in real life.

I rarely buy anything from anywhere else.

@Rori I am Jewish so don’t condone slavery or concentration camps in anyway shape or form. However you are being a massive hypocrite. Look into history you will see Siemens the phone manufacturer used Jews in camps to grow their business. Just like Africans are enslaved now in camps to make your smart phone. Get off your high horse clothes, phones, electronics are all the same tat to the people enslaved to make them.

@Dani think it's awful that slavery is used in so much of what we use on a daily basis and I am involved in advocacy and campaigning against it in things like microchips too. Shein and Temu are particularly blatant but nobody cares because they can't be arsed to shop more thoughtfully. You don't shop anywhere else even as you say.

I bought a lot of things from SHEIN, it depends. Some deliveries as like 2 days some are 1 week or more. Make sure you buy cotton only if it’s clothing. It’s easy to return, I personally use in post locker and it’s the best.

@Rori so just because you think your phone is important that makes it different to people buying from SHEIN looool just admit you’re being a hypocrite and we can all move on.

@Rori i agree with you. Yes a lot of places use slave labour which is clearly a problem that needs fixing. Easy way to avoid it is buying second hand. Yes i have a samsung phone but got it second hand, that way you're not contributing directly to the company. It's difficult to live in the modern world without things like phones but it's very easy to not use shien or temu

I bought a fair bit recently but everything was more expensive than advertised when I went to pay, I found all the pants/jeans super long too so it’s worth checking the measurements

Shein delivery is usually abt a week but something have a quick ship option. Quality is a hit & miss to be honest but after a while you can tell what’s going to be good from ok.

Black person & avid shein shopper stepping into the slave labour chit chat. 2nd is still supporting, they have been countless time I bought products from other places to see the same on shein cheaper. Not similar but the same. Let’s continue to fool ourselves, every company is ethical until they get caught. So let’s sit on our moral high ground thinking we’re making a difference as keyboard warriors
