Thanks @Leona Did it have any impact on breastmilk supply? How do you feed your baby?
I EBF with my first I went back to exercise after 8 weeks (and a had a c section) with this one I took longer but just cause I took it easy. I've been seeing a physio. My main concern is my abdominal gap so she has told me what to avoid and what to look out for when doing exercise to make sure I help closing the gap.
@Conchi whats abdominal gap?
@Conchi Thanks for sharing 😇 I will go through it.
I’m almost 6 months pp and started exercising 4.5 months pp. It’s recommended to avoid planks,sit ups, heavy weights (any exercises that involves crunching or bulges the bottom of the stomach) for at least 6-8 weeks. I do pretty much all exercises, I’m just extra cautious that my stomach doesn’t feel like its pulling near the incision if I’ve worked a bit hard, if it does I’ll stop or change to a different exercise that doesn’t use core muscles, I’ll continue this until I feel more comfortable/confident as I still get anxious, but at this stage there aren’t any restrictions with what is okay/not okay x
