My little girls 15 months old and probably says around 5-10 words, saying that banana is ‘nana’ and food is ‘yummy’. I wouldn’t worry at all x
That’s not a delay that’s quite normal/advanced! What do you expect a 15 month old to do lol
We have 4 words currently. 15 to 20 words used in context is amazing!
This isn’t a delay. 18mo is typically where you’d expect around 20 words or more. They’re doing perfectly fine.
This would be considered ahead for quite a few children
Mine says about 8 Words at the moment x
Mine says about 8 or 9 that I can think of and I’m not worried at all 🥰
We have up to 5 words
My boy is 15 months and has zero words!! Maybe ‘mama’ but I’m not sure that’s directed at me tbh 😂
My boy is 16 months and can’t say anything yet! So that’s incredible if that’s the case!
My 15 month old says 1 word maybe twice a week 😂
My eldest didn't swap sounds for speech until he was 2.5yo
That’s amazing, my boy doesn’t say any words yet just still a babbler x
Thank you everyone, I didn’t mean to make anyone feel bad, I just genuinely didn’t know (FTM) thank you so much!!

Dw hun I’m sure you made no one feel bad! They’re just reassuring you that your boy is doing absolutely fine and amazing and every child’s progress is different x
Mine definitely doesn't say that many words! He says a handful - mama, dada, car, shoes, book - but certainly not racking up to 15-20. They do developmental check-ins at his nursery and he is down as progressing well so I'd say there's nothing to worry about with your little one x
Just turned 15 months old and isn’t saying any words so this is amazing to me! Says dada and mama but has done since 9 months and they don’t have much meaning because I’m dada🤣
My boy only says mum and dad so your bub is definitely not delayed
Mines like 4 words id say
I would say as a mum with a severe speech delayed 3yr old - That's amazing!!! My LG is also around same age and doesn't know any words.... honestly I wouldn't worry x
