Driving with baby crying

Any tips on how to drive when your little one is bawling? He spits the dummy out and cries so much he loses his breath and goes red. I keep pulling over but literally can't go anywhere without this happening !

I have no idea about dummies or babies as I’m expecting my first soon so I apologise if this is useless info 🙈 but what about those little clips that people put onto clothes so they can put the dummy back in by themselves? 😊

Is your car an electric/hybrid? Could be emf sensitivity. Or the seat isn’t suiting little one. Sorry I couldn’t be more help x

Could it be the position if his car seat? There are 3 in my son's, all suitable for newborn but lying position definitely suits him better I find. Could a black and white hanging toy (musical even) help distract him? Just thinking out loud.

@Elisha there’s no scientific basis to EMF

@Simi congratulations! He's only 11 weeks so can't put it back in by himself yet. I can't wait until he can 😂

@Tiff @Elisha I shall have a good look at the car seat! Thank you!! Got a black and white hanging toy 😂 I feel like I've spoiled him too much

I was in the same boat until I finally got a new car seat. We had one that we used that came with the travel system but then switched over to a different one but nothing helped. As soon as we got the graco 360 chair she’s been soo much better. I think it’s because she can lay back and the chair itself is higher and she can see out the window better now

Don’t think you’re spoiling him! Just think of it as covering all basis to try keep yourself sane! 😂
