The only conversation we're having so far is her answering 'no' to everything I ask her.

My little girl can have a basic conversation with you and she can answer yes and no to things, but I wouldn’t say it’s full sentences, she can almost repeat anything you ask her to say, but I’m sure it’s close to clicking together but sometimes it’s full sentences in baby language especially when she’s excited x

No! I don’t know who these children you are seeing are, but I don’t know any who can have a back and forth conversation at just turned 2!

We can have basic conversations, maybe an exchange of 3 sentences each. At this stage though, a lot is yes or no or repeating as well ☺️

I think it really depends on what you call having a conversation at this age. I think people really interpret it differently. My mother in law would say my daughter has conversations but really it's her saying one or two words/sounds or pointing and us filling in the rest to have what seems like a conversation.

Not full conversations but she’ll say where’s it gone or what is that or there it is. She’ll say no to the majority or things even though she can say yes!

My little good is pretty good at having conversations with us, but her and her 3.5yr old brother chatter away all day everyday 😅
