Working out after a c-section

Hi, Has anyone started exercising yet after their c-section? If yes, when did you start and what sort of exercises were you able to do at the beginning? I’ve had mine 10 weeks ago and I can now walk and bend normally, I can pick things up and I can carry my baby who is now over 6.5 kgs all day with no problems. I would like to start working out now as my weight is getting to me (although I have lost around 15kgs since pregnancy). Any tips?

Starting this week, 9w post C-section. I had a Mommy MOT with a physio and they checked everything including my abdominal muscles separation and advised me on what to do next and how to scale workouts. I do CrossFit tho which is quite intense so I'm easing my way back in.

Have a look at https://www.instagram.com/mashaspeachesfit_?igsh=MW5lNmo1ZjJ4czFheA== she started working out again at 6 weeks post C-section with twins. I personally haven’t but she gives some good tips

I think it depends on your healing progress and your exercise level pre section. I was very active and resumed walking immediately after c section and went for my first jog at 6 weeks, gradually adding in lifting weights from there

I started wall & mat Pilates 8 weeks PP.

Thanks everyone, I started following that lady on Instagram. I wasn’t actively working out with high intensity before pregnancy but I did hour walks every day so perhaps I need to start with that again 🤔
