Milestones

Hi girlies. My baby will be 7 months on the 17th and I just feel a little worried as she’s not babbling too much. She will occasionally say bababa dadada. She also doesn’t sit unassisted or crawls. I have 2 under 2 so it’s hard to not compare as my other baby is fresh on my mind. I have videos and pictures and at 7 months he was definitely crawling, sitting, and babbling all day. As a matter of fact he had been babbling since 3 months it seems lol Part of me seems guilty as I’m so busy running after my toddler. I feel like I haven’t talked to her enough or done my part to get her going.

Honestly Ms. Rachel helped mine

My girl only says Dada and that's occasionally she doesn't sit unassisted she doesn't crawl she doesn't roll i definitely talk to her all the time and do tummy time etc she just seems like she's just going a bit slower than her siblings she does do rapid arm flopping like I do(im autistic) she gets straddled very easily she doesn't like loud nosies im wonder if she's showing some signs of autism my 4 year old is autistic as well

Don’t worry too much about that. My baby will be 7 months old on the 21st and she’s nowhere near sitting up either. She babbles just a bit but nothing crazy. And I feel like most people I talk to around this age is just right there with us. I’m sure she’ll be just fine, she has her timeline :)

My boy will also be 7 months on the 17th he doesn't crawl yet he doesn't babble he pterodactyl squeals but he doesn't babble all babies have different rates for their Milestones they're going to do what they're going to do

I just want to say I feel the same way. I felt like my daughter was already crawling and babbling so much at 7 months and my son just turned 7 months yesterday and he literally just rolls lol. I call him my potato. But I completely get it. I try to remind myself that they are two different people and aren’t really comparable and try to remember every baby has their own timeline. His dr. Isn’t worried and neither am I. He will sit up and crawl when he’s ready. Just enjoy your time with your babies 🩷

I am in the same boat. I have 2u2 and my toddler was an early milestone baby (walking by 8.5m) and she just so wild I feel like I never get to stop and spend time with my baby. I have just learned that while I’m chasing playing etc to try and incorporate baby as well as you can and narrate and talk to them about everything both of them seem to have developed a bit more verbally from it. They have also started babbling to each other
