Struggle to take pills C section medication in the morning

Never heard of this and this is my 3rd c section
Oh actually wait a second. Baby brain 🤣🤣. Yes I’m sure I got given them too. Just ring up tomorrow and let them know. That’s what I would do x

I suppose it’s just for pre caution as what would happen to people who have emergency c sections
I’m pretty sure you can empty the capsules into apple sauce or something so you can take it.
Dont stress though. This should be for preventing stomach ulcers from forming AND to prevent you from getting g sick from anesthesia
Omeprazole is a heartburn/acid reflux medication. We were prescribed a lower dose when my little boy was a few months for his reflux. Obviously he couldn't take a tablet so were told to mix the tablet in water and then use a syringe. Might be worth trying that.
They just give us a shake we have to drink a few hours before surgery in the u.s.
Tell them when you get there in the morning, they can give you a dose through the IV drip they'll put in for the CS
They only gave me mine 30 minutes before which isn’t really enough time to kick in, tbh I personally don’t think they’ll cancel it if you don’t take it, I think it’s just more for your comfort
It’s just omeprazole you don’t get this when it’s an emergency or anything it’s just an added layer of protection but try your hardest to take it you might as well
You got pre c section tablets?? Wish I had these before I had my son in 2022. Not sure what they would do to be honest? Are you in the UK?
