Only pain I felt was the scratch of the cannula in my hand. Both times never felt the spinal or the surgery. In fact, I didn’t even know they’d started my first section.
No honestly it’s fine. It’s uncomfortable because you think it’s a needle going in but realistically can’t actually feel it as they numb everything before
You feel 3 numbing injections in your back, after that the area is numb they put the spinal in. You’ll feel the canula go in, but other than that, you won’t feel anything else other than when you have the catheter out a good few hours after surgery
