Nappy sizes

Hi all, my LO is 5months and weighs 6.9kg. She's in size 3 nappies which say they are for 6-10kg. Recently though they look a bit small, we've had more leaks too. Size 4 is from 9kg though so I'm not sure if I should size up yet? Anyones LO a similar weight and already in size 4?

Honestly I’d just ignore the weights on them and give them a try. If they’re too big, you can always save the rest of the pack till she’s a bit bigger. I find the weights to be really inaccurate and they grow out of them well before they hit the upper weight limit.

My boy is only 11 weeks and he is in size 3, I personally wouldnt go off the size it says on the pack and just judge what she needs when she needs it x

Don’t go in sizes, if you have more leaks, size up. My 6 month old is in size 6 currently

Sizing up is how you avoid blow outs

My kids have always sized up before they hit the weight on the box

Just like clothing sizes, I feel the weight range is more of a guide. Our son is 15 months now, but still comfortably fits in size 0 clothes which is usually for 6-12 months. 12-18 month clothes swim on him! He also seems to fit into nappies for a bit longer once he’s “exceeded” the weight range. If you’re having more leaks, or the nappy is no longer sufficient for overnight, it might be time to size up.

They are general guidelines you don’t need to stick to them religiously it’s just a guide. If you need to size up then do that and ignore the weight guides As for me I use cloth diapers they have adjustable snaps at the front, and even though on their website they have weight guides I undo the snaps and size up as I feel fit to, when I see that he needs it and it’s getting tight, I’ll undo the snaps to the next row

How tall is LO?
