I have 2 separate questions if anyone has answers for either 😂
- My 7 week old is very close to outgrowing his Moses basket, I’d say we have around 2 weeks left. Has anyone else’s baby outgrown theirs already and where are you putting them to sleep downstairs if they have? Obviously he’s way too young to sleep upstairs by himself. Never had this problem with my first baby because he was the biggest Velcro baby and was permanently attached to me so never used a Moses basket anyway.
- We have a tutti bambini next to me crib. My baby hates it and refuses to sleep in it, so we are taking his Moses basket upstairs for night time sleep too, and he usually does around a 7 hour stretch before waking for a bottle then goes back down.
We also had a tutti bambini for my first baby, who also hated it and didn’t sleep properly until he was in his big cot (I just assumed he was a rubbish sleeper, but I do think it was the crib, as he started sleeping through the day we put him in his cot) We got rid of it after my first, and I didn’t realise it was the same one we’d bought for my 2nd
I’m just wondering if anyone else has the same crib and their baby actually sleeps ok in it, or whether every single baby hates it 😂
I’m trying to work out whether to persist with it when he outgrows his Moses basket, or whether to just bring his big cot from his bedroom into our bedroom.

Following, we only have a Moses basket and wondering what to get next. Also 7 weeks🥰

My boy is 7 weeks and is the same, he's super long and getting too big for the next to me.
The cotbed we're planning on moving him into won't fit in our room so will put the travel cot in there for him to sleep in until we move him into his own room.
We use it when he naps at mum mums and he sleeps fine it is and has so much more room.

I have the tutti next to me. My little boy sleeps in it okay if I have the side zipped down and my hands inside but he will only sleep holding hands and the rockit moving the crib. He was the opposite to your little one though, he hated his Moses basket! Have you tried the rocking feet? It made a big difference for us in the next to me, x

We have the tutti next to me she didnt like it at first but is ok now she sleeps right against the side come morning though lol when my son outgrew the moses basket
I put him in the flat bit of pram for downstairs

My little boy has slept in his tutti bambini since birth but I’ve heard lots of people have similar issues to you. A few things that I think helped:
- We used a hot water bottle to warm the crib for him before we put him in.
- I have it attached to the bed with the side zipped down so I can get to him easily and so he can see me.
- At first I kept a muslin cloth in my bra through the day and then tucked this into the mattress at night so he slept on it.
- We use the love to dream swaddle bags but I only put them on once he is asleep because he hates having his arms restricted when awake.
- I also use a red light and white noise.
I hope this is helpful xx

I have a babymore, and my little one sleeps in it. It rocks (when baby moves) and she can touch either side with her hands (which she can't with the tutti bambini, so therefore hates)

We have the tutti next to me, and both our babies have slept in it fine. They both have slept in a love to dream swaddle in there and have been fine. It’s quite a large space compared to the Moses basket so that could be why!

We’ve also got the tutti bambini next to me and my little one also doesn’t sleep in it.
She sleeps pretty much on me at night, she falls asleep instantly. I’ve noticed soon as we put her in the next to me she starts fussing around in it.

It's something about these babies born in March! Our bit was due in April but came 2 weeks early in March, and he's already growing out of everything! My other boy lasted in his next2me until he we had to move him out of it for climbing out at 4 months. I think my little one will be out of his pram carrycot within the next few weeks. We have the chicco 5 in 1 for downstairs, which seems fine at the moment
