Baby has forgotten how to clap
Feel very disheartened, she was great at waving and now she doesn’t do it anymore? It’s been like a week now with no waving when I wave her and ask her to wave back. She still can’t clap either. Just looking for some reassurance this is normal? She is nearly 10 months old.

My little boy isn't doing either yet ... Hell clap with me as in he has his hands on my hand but he's not doing it on his own properly yet so I wouldn't worry
Babies often stop doing one thing if they are focusing on another skill , my LO stopped clapping for a While as she was babbling a lot, then all of sudden started clapping again. Happened again when she was learning to crawl , they focus their energy on one thing I’m sure she has not forgotten , she will likely start doing it again very soon x
My LB can clap but only claps when I don’t ask him lol any time I ask him to clap his hands and I clap my hands, he just looks at me 😂 then 5 mins later, he claps on his own accord! No waving for us yet, but I’m constantly trying lol
