Breastfeeding help

Hello All,

I wondered if anyone knows of any breast feeding drop in sessions or even better 1-2-1 sessions available in the wallington area? Happy to travel short distances too!

Baby girl is 5 days old and won’t latch for long and I would love to breast feed at least 70% of the time to build that connection!

Any help/advice welcome! 🙏

Hi Cici. Cafe milk is great, check out their website. They’re in Redhill and Caterham though not sure if that’s too far for you.

Breastfeeding isn’t easy for everyone. The most natural thing in the world is sometimes really hard. Keep going, it does get easier and speak to your HV or midwife. They should be lots of local support.

Fridays at the pheonix centre! They’re amazing - I think it’s 10-12 and health visitors come with a weight station toward the end.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Breastfeeding mommas

Hi guys im a FTM and the only person in my family that has ever exclusive breastfed, Along with that my little one has started biting and im in shambles it hurts so bad how do i get it to stop? shes 9 months she gets a bottle while im working. I dont want to stop breastfeeding but if this continues i will have too

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
