Are they then expect you to pick it up? I wouldn't. We operate "I made the mess - I clean the mess" policy ( most of the time lol)

Leave the toys there for the bin man 🤣🤣🤣

Like the chair window or the house window?

Me: Bye Bye, all gone *wave at the toy out the window My kids: NOOOoooo 😭😱😭😱😭 *thrashing, rolling on the ground Then I would sneak out and go get it, hide it for two days then bring it out again. Me: Look what mommy found for you, I love you so. 😀 I'd feel like a bit of a pushover for doing it, but they'd get the lesson in the moment and I hate losing perfectly good toys. There are some things that get broken or whatever that are really gone for good so it's not like they don't learn what is like. Hopefully this widow is high enough that your child can't get out of it. Maybe it needs a screen or bar to make it harder for things to go out of?

Lock the windows, so 4 yo can't open them in the car or house. If it continues to happen, stop buying toys. If 4 yo can't treat toys with respect and be responsible with them, then they don't need toys. 🤷‍♀️ FAFO, my friend.

I've got a younger toddler. He loves pretend play right now so I might redirect with an indoor obstacle course for his stuffies and encourage him to take his toys through the obstacle course. Plus we totally talk about not hurting our toys

Throw the toys in the trash

my son threw toys out a window once (hes 4 & autistic) i told him his toys have feelings too and throwing toys hurts them now he doesn't throw toys out the window or objects often during tantrums

@Indre not really, he’s just proud of himself. i tell him it’s not okay, and definitely not okay to treat his toys that way and i put the toys he’s thrown out away ( he wasn’t impressed, yet still did it again a few hours later ) windows are latched now, afraid to open them 🤣

@Kendra Budd house windows! It’s been warm so we’ve had ours open

@Bonny I did something like that yesterday but haven’t brought the toys back yet! There’s one window that’s a risk and that’s permanently latched now, I’ve too much anxiety to risk leaving it open, it’s tough cause it’s pretty warm and I wanna air out the house but I’m nervous to leave any windows open upstairs now 🥲💀
