When is the best time to pack your hospital bag?

I think 35 weeks is recommended. I’m 36 weeks and have almost finished mine

I packed mine at 27 weeks as a just in case precaution lol but I probably did pack way too early I’m same as you 30 weeks pushing 31 xx

I'm 29 weeks and just started the process and realised I need to add a bigger bag to the shopping list! 😅

I’m having a C-section on 7th and not going to start packing my bag for another couple of weeks yet (31 weeks today). Need to get out the baby clothes and wash them all but don’t want them hanging about for weeks

@Danielle see this is what I’m stuck on😂 I don’t know when to start washing the clothes as I don’t want them leaving for long otherwise I’d have to wash them again but I’m so afraid of her possibly coming early

@Jasmine I’m 30 weeks and I’ve started to wash her clothes the last week, and anything new I buy I’ll do it bit by bit, if I feel her Hosptial stuff needs washing again I can do it, but I’m thinking about starting to pack it 33/35 weeks like my stuff ect her clothes will be last to go in xxxx

@Jasmine I guess if you’re packing vest/babygro/socks or whatnot in labelled sandwich bags (as lots of people advise - an organisation level I can only aspire to!) then they’d keep fresh in the hosp bag

I’m 28weeks and have some things ready and some idea of what to pack. Still just to pack it and get some more bits and bobs. Think you should definitely start now xx

I’m 30 weeks & have just gotta wash baby boys clothes but rest of bag is packed. Mainly due to having my first at 34weeks xx Good luck and congratulations xx

Do it now well you have the energy! With my first I waited till 35/36 weeks and then couldn’t be bothered as I was so tired and I’m 32 weeks now and lost all energy and no bag packed 😂 I wish I learnt from my mistake and did it sooner x

@Danielle I did this because I am putting all of her clothes into the wardrobe and drawers I thought washing them at 28 weeks would be fine as they won’t get dusty etc as they are all away in the wardrobe/ drawers and the ones in my hospital bag are all in the sandwich bags xx

I’m 31 weeks tomorrow due 15th July, I haven’t started mine yet probably will do at 34/35 weeks

I am 31 weeks, packed baby’s stuff yesterday and I have a list of what I am packing for mine and have bought everything just need to get it in a bag. I was born at 31 weeks so wanted little ones things ready in case he is early like me 😂

I’m due 16th July & I’ve basically packed my bag, just the odd little bits to get. Started washing babies clothes today and then I’ll be putting them in the bag.. then I’m all done, you just never know x
