Kids and boo boos

Hello, I have a 4 year old daughter who really like to be extremely dramatic when she gets a boo boo. Currently she has a small cut on her pinky toe and will not walk, she will not let me look at it, place the band aid properly, she will not let me put socks on and she will literally limp and act like she broke her whole leg. It’s funny in a way but she is making things a lot harder than what they need to be. I tired to talk to her and explain that it will heal and she can still walk she just needs to be careful. I know it hurts a little bit but idk what to do at this point because she refuses to walk and is making getting her to go to pre school even harder. Any tips and tricks to help would be appreciated.

Why are toddlers so dramatic. Mine cried because bingo was upset in an episode of bluey 🤣 All i can suggest is maybe pretend you have the same injury and have her to tend to you, and maybe you can look and sort hers out.

My husband’s nephew did this at about the same age I used to perform “surgery” and make it better One time, I actually noticed a splinter in his foot and had to perform surgery for real 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣 He never walked around barefoot again. He’s 16 now lol

My son’s 4.5 and does this sometimes. I made him a first aid kit and it loves it. He’s a little less dramatic now. Some kids are just like that lol
