Please settle a debate. My husband is adamant that the potty is not in the lounge. I disagree. I think it should be accessible as close as possible. Where is yours?

I had multiple all over the house and removed them as my daughter got better at holding her urine. I think it depends on the method because some research says to keep them in the bathroom to teach them to hold their pee longer and where they need to pee but I say assess what works for your kid

Living room for me easiest for my son to access as where we spend majority of our time

During the initial training period (so like 2-4 days) I had it in the living room but then it moved to the downstairs loo and stayed there until we moved to him using the toilet.

1 downstairs (living room) and 1 upstairs (bathroom) but I take it into the bedroom where I change her in the morning

It's in our living room/ playroom since that's our main play area but we're hoping to move the potty seats back into the bathroom by next week.

We have one in our living room next to the sofa. And one upstairs in the bathroom.

We will absolutely not have one outside the actual bathroom. That always weirded me out lol if she can't run to her potty 1 room away, she's not ready to potty train. We do have a bathroom both upstairs and downstairs too

Living room during the initial stages for easy access. You can move it when they’ve mastered the training

Multiple but, initially, definitely one in the living room

Initially we had it in the sitting room and bedroom whilst the early stages of training were reached. Then I left them in bedroom and bathroom. Just a word of warning though, my LO gradually would've ran to get the potty to take it to the sitting room to use if the tv was on or they were in the middle of playing a game though...I had to then really be strict on use in bathroom only!!

Potty in the living room. I’d rather not go all the way upstairs every time she needs a wee!

The bathroom

I bring it all over the house

In the bathroom (but she can access the bathroom if she needs to)

Potty in every room of the house

Wherever my kid went, that's where the potty had to go

Living room. Especially when starting but we are 7 months in and still there.

We basically carried the potty to whichever room we were in for the first few days, maybe even weeks, then slowly transitioned to leaving it in the bathroom once we started getting the hang of things.
