Uncertain viability after early pregnancy scan ☹️

I had an early scan because of two miscarriages last yet. Scan showed the gestational scan measuring less than 6 weeks and what could be the yolk sac. I had a follow up scan that showed the gestational sac had tripled in size and a definite yolk sac (good news) but no pole and still measuring less than 6 weeks. I have another follow up in a few days and I’m really hoping it’s good news. According to when I tested positive for ovulation, I should be 6 weeks by then…everything is uncertain.

I'm similar, based on period should be 8 +5 , went for early scan and at first she said looks to be around 5 weeks...then confirmed 6+0. I was horrified looking at a tiny pea on the screen thinking where is my baby! After ai calmed down it's clear I just ovulated later than I thought and my periods had become less regular innthe last few months so that explains the behind by 2 weeks. She COULD see the fetal pole and yolk sac, and given what we were looking at was only just 6wks it made sense there was no heartbeat yet. Have to wait another week and hopefully will see a heartbeat. Hang in there it's awful waiting, but at 6 weeks it's not usually to see much x
You could be really early. When I went for an early scan there was no sac at all! And they were claiming I was 6 weeks. The time frame they give it is incorrect anyway as you’re not that far along if you do it from your last period. Don’t stress. I waited a week and then there was a sack and a heart beat and that was at my official 6 week scan
Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences unfortunately since posting this I started bleeding very heavily and I’m in a lot of pain with cramping so it doesn’t look like good news for me, they cannot confirm for definite what I think I know until my next scan next Monday but I’m pretty certain what’s happening right now 😢

I had that I thought I was 6+5 based off LMP but when I went in I was measuring at 5 weeks and only had yolk sac, no fetal pole yet. I went back in exactly 2 weeks and saw fetal pole and heart beat. They then measured me at 7+5 (so jumped 5 days later). Seeing fetal pole is a really good sign. The uncertainty is hard and it was really worrying. If you feel you can’t wait the 10 days, just could do another scan in 5 days time, I know some people do that for earlier reassurance. Hope you’re okay
