My baby turned 11 months yesterday. He is pulling to stand and will stand for a several minutes at a time. He still army crawls and won't crawl on his hands and knees. Is this okay? He is a Velcro baby but I keep him on the floor playing as much as I can. I've tried exercises for him to get him used to crawling on his knees but nothing works. Am I the only one?

I thought my boy was gonna be army crawling forever! He started crawling literally totally random one day!
I have HEARD that some babies skip the hands and knees crawling and jump straight to standing/walking. If you have ANY concerns though, you can reach out tp his pediatrician! ❤️

Hi!
I think some babies don’t crawl at all.
My mom has 4 kids (including me) and she says none of us crawled but went straight to walking around 11-14 months

There is nothing wrong with your kiddo! Some kids just dont want to crawl on all fours, and that's ok! Don't worry about it, each kid develops differently and at their own pace. My first crawled for maybe two weeks before walking at 9 months old, and now my 11 month old shows zero interest in walking. I didn't walk until I was 15 months old. You're doing a great job, mama!

Mine is exactly the same as yours. I’m on my third baby and not worried at all. Like the ladies above mentioned, it’s normal for some babies (-:
