I had Kyleena and loved it! Never will do any other BC other than IUD
I agree^
I had the mirena years ago it was great until i decided to take it out to start trying to conceive
@Lauren was the procedure to put it in painful ?
@Kailyn I was told to take a painkiller and was prescribed a muscle relaxer to use prior to going to the appointment for insertion so it was to bad I would recommend taking a pad with you just in case cuz you may experience some spotting and I also had a friend take me just in case I didn’t feel up to driving
I had the Mirena and it was great for a while but I ended up taking it out. I had tons of random back pains and stomach cramping. Once it was removed I felt so much better. Before that happening it wasn’t bad but I did have spotting here and there. They also didn’t give me anything before they put it in and it hurt for me. Like, really intense cramping and I had bleeding. But everyone is different and I know some women love it and have no issues. It just wasn’t the right birth control for me.
Had one between my last two pregnancies and it was great. That’s my plan this time around too. I have horrible periods and it helped immensely and I didn’t have to remember a pill so it’s a win win
I had the Skyla! 3 year iud.. everyone is so different but I loved my iud and I had no problem getting pregnant after.. but I know some peoples body’s hate IUDs too
