Just need to vent
So my partner opened the fridge today and commented on the old food in there. So I said "you could clean it out" to which he responded "I work 5 days a week". WHAT KIND OF PERSON WOULD SAY THAT TO SOMEONE WHOS HOME WITH A FOUR YEAR OLD AND A BABY AND HASN'T SLEPT IN SEVEN MONTH. WHY NOT JUST CLEAN THE FRIDGE INSTEAD OF ADDING IT TO MY LIST OF NEVER ENDING JOBS. GOOD GOD.

Oh he knew, he actually listed all the things that were old 😂 I didn't wanna rage in front of the kids so I just went to take a nap 😂
They honestly don't realise how much hard work and time consuming being a SAHM mum is, they think you just sit around watching TV and eating biscuits 🤣 my husband thought like this when I was on maternity leave as the house was mess due to a needy baby, so I booked a spa day, and left him alone for a full day, he couldn't manage he drove to his Mum's for help and then apologised afterwards 🤣
This could just be a conversation between you and your husband to better delegate who does what and why. He didn’t say anything outlandish or disrespectful… just a dumb comment with no thought behind it.

Did you tell him you work 7 days a week, 24 hours a day? I can understand that he’s not comfortable to do it because he doesn’t know what to throw out, but the working 5 days a week comment is 🙄
