Is it normal that my toddler asks for hugs and for me probably 100 times a day. Like I mean every few minutes she’s going “want mama” “hug hug hug”!
I’m due with our second in July, she’ll be just 2 by then, and i’m worried with how she’ll cope. She sleeps in her own bed in her own room but anything that comes up like illness, nightmares, teething etc, she’s straight in bed with me. Last night she slept cuddled up with me all night, she’s still a little baby and I feel awful with how she’ll be pushed out once baby is here. There’s no way I can cuddle up with her at night to comfort her when I have a newborn to feed and look after! I want her to still have this comfort and attention from me because she clearly still needs it, but how can I split myself between two of them?!

Honestly, if I had £1 each time I hear "pick up" or "mummy cuddle please" every day, I'd be so rich.
I think it's just a phase as he's only recently started doing it.
He also has started saying "I sad" so I think he's started understanding emotions so might be why he wants more comfort? x

My daughters in the mummy mummy mummy cuddle phase but a quick hug and she’s back on her way again sometimes I encourage her to cuddle her comfort teddies if I can’t get to her in the car for example and she does. I’m expecting early December so it does make me wonder if they know. I keep saying has mummy got a baby in her tummy and she says yes but I don’t think she really understands but maybe she can sense it.
