First period after C-Section
When did everyone’s period come after c section and what was it like? Mine came at exactly 5 weeks, not painful but really heavy, I’m 6 weeks postpartum today and still as heavy as it was on day 1 and very red with a lot of clots! Is this normal?

This is exactly the same as me! Even the number of weeks PP. I’m actually having a scan on Thursday to check it’s not leftover placenta as my clots were huge! X
I thought clots were a sign of infection/scar opening from the inside, consider contacting midwives etc! My period after my first was around 6 months because I EBF, and was just like a normal period, just a few more cramps
@Holly because I was discharged from the midwives I had to go via A and E! Such a pain x
@Katie i hope you didn't have to wait too long, I know some A&E have 12 hour waits at the moment!
