In a search of a baby carrier that is supportive. Does anybody have any recommendations of what works best for them? I currently have a Moby baby carrier from target. I’m a first time Mom and I’m 4”10 . This thing makes my back hurt by just wearing it for 20 to 30 minutes. Can somebody point me in the right direction

Wildbird!!! It’s on the pricy side.. but WORTH the money. TRUST ME!!

The wildbird aerial carrier to be exact

I absolutely love the artipope baby carrier. They have cute designs, pricey but so comfortable and easy to put on. It’s worth it if you’re planning on having more kids. I used it for both kids and planning to use it for my third baby.

Ergobaby is my absolute favorite
The straps are the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced from any wrap I’ve tried. I suffer from chronic coat hanger pain & I have worn an Ergobaby carrier for hours on end without any issues

Wildbird!

Mabe baby or angel baby carrier

I have the artipoppe but I do feel pain/uncomfortable after a while. My husband says he doesn’t feel any discomfort . I wish I
Could test all the above mentioned carriers and see which one works best. It’s so useful to wear baby

I have an ergo carrier and a boba carrier and one of those wraps you are talking about. I liked my boba carrier for when my lo was really small. It came with a newborn insert which worked well and it was sooo great for my back and hips. The ergo omni that I have was great for when she got a little older.

What I liked about this is it felt like my child was very secure in there, safely positioned and it was supportive of my back and hips. I have a bad back to begin with so this was great to use.

The boba one was recommended to me by another mom. The ergo baby one I got because she can be front facing as well and it’s for bigger babies

As a fellow shorty I love the tush baby. I had a mom cozy and the kind that has a ton of fabric both killed my back.

I love the lark from hope and plum! Very similar to the wild bird aerial.

We love our Wildbird aerial carrier- I even used it recently with her at 20 mos - she loves to ride on my back 😁

Boba bliss!

I love the Baby Bjorn, I used for both my babies and lasts until they’re toddlers too 🥰

I would recommend finding a sling library and trying a few on. I went to one and found the Mamaruga Zensling which my husband and I both find really comfortable.

Carrier collective! It's a carrier library

Grownsy structured soft carrier on Amazon. It’s a knock off of ones like wild bird and I’m 5 foot and haven’t had issues! I walk a couple miles a day with it and baby wear for a lot of naps so lots of hours and love it.

I use the infantino cuddle up with the fox hood on it. It’s affordable and my baby likes it

Wildbird may be findable secondhand , fwiw . Most carriers have good resale value
