Methodist Dallas Tx

Did anyone have their baby at Methodist in Dallas tx? My boyfriend heard about a bad experience from our friends & now he wants me to change hospitals.. did anyone else have a bad experience there?? It could be because it was near COVID time but the mother wasn’t allowed to have the child’s father in the room during an emergency c section, the mother was also left traumatized from the experience so I’m a little stressed out (I know emergency c sections are traumatic regardless) just aiming for a calm delivery if possible. I had my baby girl there 2 months ago my doctors were great labor room is big but only one couch so if you have two people with you it might be uncomfortable overnight. Labor and delivery rooms are very small and you are only allowed 2 guests at a time + your child’s father. Nurses were good. Only downside my visitors experienced was the front desk ladies were rude or seemed annoyed. I know there was a shooting incident this year so security was insane. Overall I’d say it was okay..

Has my baby there back in February and they thought it was funny that I was in pain then some nurses that I would ask for snack from when I got hungry weee rude or never came and when pushing out my daughter the almost didn’t catch her

I’ve gone to Methodist for years because I lived in BA and I can say for sure the regular staff is INSANELY rude however everyone who assisted me when I gave birth in the maternity wing was very sweet and my Dr was amazing I had the perfect birthing experience. It was the only time I felt comfortable with the staff and I’m so happy I didn’t do it anywhere else. I’m giving birth there again only because I loveeeee my Dr and she works with Methodist but I wouldn’t go there for anything else.
