@Kirsty I was sooooo scared for c section due to my last one but this one I literally only feel pain on my incision but otherwise I’m feeling perfectly fine!! It’s crazy
Same! Couldn’t believe how good the second recovery has been! After 1 week I was cleaning and walking miles - a lot of people I have spoken to have said the same!
I’ve only had one but I hope my second is as good! I loved it in theatre. and recovery was absolutely fine. The only thing I did have was itching from the spinal. Omg sooo bad! Nearly scratched my eyes out 😂 but I’d do it all again in a heartbeat!
13 days post 2nd section, my recovery at the beginning was sooo much quicker. However, by day 4 I’d done too much, pulled out a stitch doing too much & have declined since (darnt do as much incase I fuck myself up more)🫠🫣 so now, I’m still better than I was with first, but I’m on hematoma watch as got a very small one (hoping it goes away and doesn’t get bigger), have mastitis (just to add to it) and keep getting a pain around my scar in a morning but soon as I’ve taken ibuprofen it hurts less
Good to know. My first and only time I was already super tired and going to csection I was so scared and shaking. On top of it, I felt all the tugging. Healing was ok. The first two weeks supper swollen, though, and uncomfortable. After that, I healed very well.
Experience in hospital, second was better. Healing & pain second was far worse but they did use forceps!
Neither were traumatic but my second was so easy. I was home alone with 2 kids within 5 days, baby wearing my newborn at the park on day 10.
Its like night and day. The first was horrendous. Months of recovery. My second, i was playing with my toddler on the floor only 4 days pp. I genuinely cannot compare the experiences.
