Does your partner remember your anniversary?

My partner doesn’t really remember our anniversary anymore. When we first started dating and the first few years he ALWAYS remembered, would buy me ‘wife’ cards and gifts etc. then over the last few years after having kids he just completely ‘forgot’.

His life became busy, he had a lot of success and he seems to only remember things that benefit him now. We spoke about it a few months ago to see if he could remember our anniversary date and he was guessing around the date but never hit the mark I had to tell him.

Well, today is our anniversary of almost 10 years. Yes there have been very difficult times during those years, some off and on situations but he hasn’t mentioned anything, not even a text. I know he doesn’t remember, and I can’t be bothered to remind him. I’m baking a cake that he likes for him as a treat and will say happy anniversary when he comes home from work - but does your partner remember the date?

I have trouble remembering myself as it’s over the kids summer holidays. He has the date tattooed on his arm.

There's literally no excuse for forgetting when, amongst other things, he could simply set a reminder on his phone 🤷🏻‍♀️ I wouldn't bother making him a cake personally, or just make your favourite cake, if he also likes it then that's a happy coincidence 😂

He reminds both of us lol. We just have the reminder on our phones that he set up.

Mine keeps it on his calendar so he can’t forget it. I’m not sure he’d remember without it. I’m not sure I would either lol

Our anniversary is Valentine’s Day, so it’s pretty hard to forget.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

Reduced movements

26 weeks and haven’t really felt little baby all day, she’s usually super active & I have a posterior placenta so I feel her all the time usually. I did feel her ever so briefly earlier right down into my pelvis. I was at maternity triage the other night with tummy cramps but everything was fine and so was baby. What should I do? I don’t want to feel like a nuisance?
