My LG will sleep through a few days in a row and then be really unsettled and crying several nights in a row after that. We can’t seem to figure out why or how we can help her. She has a really good appetite and sometimes I worry I over feed her but she won’t always clean her plate and stops eating when she’s full. Gas drops and/or calpol help her settle sometimes. When she’s teething she’ll have one or two really rough nights and then be fine, so we never know for sure if it’s her teeth. She’s been straightening her legs and very wiggly when we go in and try to get her back to sleep so not sure if it’s growing pains? She doesn’t have teddies in her cot but she’s never asked or taken one up to bed with her so not sure how to introduce it as I don’t want her waking in the night and wondering what is this thing in my cot 😅
She is rocked to sleep still and no plans to change that for now. She can settle herself overnight so something must really be bothering her for her to sit up and cry. I feel like she can’t get comfortable and gets frustrated but we don’t know how to help her.
My husband especially gets really frustrated when she won’t settle for him. Sometimes it takes me upwards of two hours to get her back down and staying asleep and he does not have the patience so I’m lying awake waiting for him to ask me to tag in. Meanwhile he doesn’t even wake up when she cries and can sleep through my being in there with her 🙄 I do all night wakings when he’s working so he insists on doing it on weekends/when he’s off because it’s “not fair on me” but I can’t sleep anyway! 🤪

I could be back teeth my little one is starting to get them he’s having a rough time with it with his front teeth he was completely fine same with my daughter back teeth are the worst as not settling for your husband my kids are the same have to have mum at night I could Just be she feels more comfortable with you if he’s frustrated she will feel that my kids love playing and being silly with dad but if there sick or hurt or uncomfortable it’s mum they want
that makes sense! I think it could be her canines as she’s got her top and bottom first molars. In the end I got her back down within 45 min after my husband had been trying for two hours 😵💫

My son outright tells his dad go away let go and shouts mama he’s got an older sister he is learning his attitude from

We had such a bad time with the canines, they were the worst until we’ve now reached the back molars. I read somewhere that it’s because canines are so sharp and they take a while to come through as the gum has to keep opening up to the widest point. Hang in there! Not many teeth to go!
