I have a best friend who recently just stopped being friends with me after I had a baby. Turns out she’s an overt narcissist and thinks she’s too good to be friends with a stay at home mom now. She went on vacation to visit my city, didn’t reach out, and when confronted she said she was busy. I live in vegas, so too busy drinking and eating. She’s letting me know she does not want to be friends anymore without saying it. Boasted online too about her vacation.
Should I delete her from social media or keep as a friend online? What would you do? I don’t want to see her posts but know deleting can cause even more drama. Or show my happy life and not care? Please any advice on how to deal with unsupportive ex friends after being a new mom

I would just block, delete, move on and don’t give it anymore head space.

Why would you wanna keep the narcissistic energy around? She doesn’t wanna be your friend so find better for yourself. You don’t have to “deal” with them. If your “friends” are no longer your friend bc you had a kid, they weren’t good friends to begin with.

Just delete or block her. You said she is a narcissist so there’s your answer.

I agree. Just delete. I have had friends like that also. I made the effort to be friends and they don't give me the time of day. Time to move on. By the way I'll be friends with y'all. I'm from Oregon long distant friends are welcome. I love to learn about all states. Parenting tips and advice is welcome.

Yes same thing happened to me except she wasn't a narcissist just extremely insecure. As soon as I realized she will never change I dropped her and never looked back. You dont need quantity you just need solid people who care about you and will be there for you no matter what. It's extremely hard to find these types of friends so I'm not surprised what you're going through but I feel for you. Be strong!

Block and move on
