Baby tapping side of head/ears

My son does it when he’s tired :) how old is the baby

It’s a sign of being tired!

My son does this to self soothe when he’s tired. He also rubs/pulls his ears when he’s teething

Yes definitely a tired sign my son turn one’s this coming week

Both my daughter and my friends daughter do this when they are getting sleepy and I know some babies do that when they are teething 😊 if the doctor didn't find anything I wouldn't worry about it too much

Has she been sick lately? Possible ear infection. Or teeth coming in? Sometimes the molars can make them tap their ears.

@Kevina we got them checked out by her pediatrician and her ears are fine. She does have some teeth coming in but no molars that we saw.

My son does that when he's teething or tired.

I actually opened peanut to ask the same question. My son will be 1 next week and today i realized he kept tapping on his ears and pulling them.
