Bugaboo fox 5

Hey Mamas!

After an extensive online research I think we are going to go for the Bugaboo Fox 5 as it sounds like it’s ticking a lot of boxes like all terrain compatibility and sturdiness. But just before we are making the move - I would love to hear from you !
We are living in a very country area where we have lots of water, grass and mud. Also a big dog that loves car travels anddd hopefully travel abroad with our little one.
We want something that will last , that will be easy to fold when needed and comfortable to use.
Any Yay or Nay ? 🙏🏻

Don’t have experience in country area but the bugaboo fox was the one and only pram he needed until 4yrs. He still sat in it until 4. Gorgeous pram. You can change the liner and the hood if you get bored of the color. I switched from light grey to blue.

I love my bugaboo fox 5 and don’t regret getting it all. I will say though it is big!
I have never taken it abroad with us, partly as didn’t want to get it damaged but also due its size. I have butterfly for travel and it’s ideal

I’ve got a bugaboo fox 3… was typical as the 5 came out just weeks after. I’ve had it 16 months now and not had a single problem with it. Myself and baby absolutely love it! Only thing I can comment on is the weight, I found it a little difficult lifting it in and out our car after having baby , I don’t know how heavy the fox 5 is but maybe worth baring that in mind x

We love our fox 5 but it is big - we have to take a wheel off to put it in the car! You can fold it all in one which is useful too!

We absolutely love ours, no regret about buying it whatsoever! Babe looks so comfortable in it and it’s so sturdy. I was too scared to take ours abroad though incase it got broken 😂 You won’t regret it!

Swing or bassinet

We've been co-sleeping/bed-sharing with our one month old (5 weeks tomorrow) since she and I came home from the hospital. While I love the cuddles I do want our bed back too. I will add too, that we try to make it as safe as possible and want her in a safe situation. She doesn't like sleeping by herself, however we've been putting her in her swing (pic below) close to daily, since she came home and at first she only liked it for a few minutes, now it could be an hour, before she protests, asleep or awake! She likes the music and rocking motion it seems and seems fascinated by the mobile when she's awake and not sleepy. We can probably get her used to the bassinet in a similar way, but I'm wondering if we should just get two of these? My husband says the music would drive him crazy, lol, but we could just do it with white noise and see if it has the same effect. He's saying it's probably good for her to learn how to sleep in different conditions. I do agree, as our older daughter can't take naps at friends' houses and stuff. Just not sure of the best route here. Anyway tia!

Won’t sleep in his next to me crib

My 9 week old (10 weeks on Saturday) will not sleep through the night if he’s in his crib.

Last night we managed to get in 6 hours but he slept with me (I hardly slept as he was laying on my arm). I’ve also notice he scream in his sleep sometimes.

I’ve had him laying on my T-shirt in his next to me crib and it will only work for an hour or two. I went for a 2/3 hour walk in the park the other day and he slept through it all and as soon as I got home he was awake and screaming at me.

He seems to like the buggy and car seat when we’re out and when we’re home only my bed, the sofa or my arms will do the trick 😭😭😭.

The only time he will sleep through the night and not wake up is when he’s in my bed everywhere else is like a 30/40 min max sleep.

8 week jabs

My baby had her jabs yesterday and I know it’s normal for them to be unsettled for a bit but she’s been spitting up a lot more than usual and also not feeding for as long and refusing one of my breasts, it’s really difficult to get her to sleep but when she does she’s sleeping for age, is that all normal? My first baby was never effected by them

Partners doing the night feeds?

Does anyone’s partner do the night feeds ? I’m doing the 9pm and 4am feed but My partner is a night owl and does the midnight feed then comes to bed. Baby is in the lounge with him until midnight then he brings him into the bedroom with me at midnight until I wake at 4am to feed him. Is this ok? Worried it’s going to get baby into a bad routine at night time as he gets bigger
