8 week jabs

My baby had her jabs yesterday and I know it’s normal for them to be unsettled for a bit but she’s been spitting up a lot more than usual and also not feeding for as long and refusing one of my breasts, it’s really difficult to get her to sleep but when she does she’s sleeping for age, is that all normal? My first baby was never effected by them

I remember our first born just sleeping a lot.

This time around our LO is vomitting up every bottle and then sleeping loads inbetween. We juat managed to get her to keep down half a bottle 🙏🏼

The spitting up and breast refusal sounds like normal baby fussiness. I happens. The sleepiness is definitely from the jabs but completely normal xx

How often is your baby waking up in the night?

My baby is 5 months old and waking up every 3 hours. Some nights he could do a 4 hour stretch and some he would do just 2. It’s a bit all over the place to be honest. Is it normal for so many wake ups at this age? What is everyone else’s baby doing?

How do you cosleep?

I know all about sleep safe 7, the dangers of cosleeping etc etc, but there seems to be a huge difference between online and people I meet in real life. Most people I know report cosleeping, but online its villainised more.
No judgement here - I'm just genuinely curious what people are actually doing!

Comments if its something different.

Our baby has her own cot. She sleeps well in it until early morning and then only sleeps if shes on/next to me. I'll also admit to having fallen asleep breastfeeding several times (no lectures, she's safe - but other people have said they've done the same).

Sleep regression starting???

LO is nearly 16 weeks, last four days have consisted in him waking more in the night and thumping his legs like a whale 🫩 I’ve checked if he has wind and he doesn’t! But enjoys slamming his legs

He was sleeping 6/7 hr stretches but it’s now he’s waking nearly 2-3 hours so do his little leg ritual 🫩🤣

Stroke symptoms scare. Anyone recommend a Doppler monitor that actually works?

Recently I had a bit of a scare where I had stroke symptoms and ended up in hospital A& E waiting for 9 hours to be seen without anyone checking the baby was ok. I am now on the look out for a Doppler but heard many don’t actually work, does anyone use or recommend one?

Autism

I have been noticing everyone I know that as a boy 2-5 years has been diagnosed with autism. Has anyone else noticed this or maybe I’m just noticing this out of concern for my 10 month old boy.

Nursery funding confusion

Assuming my baby is born in June not July as my due date is the end of the month, I believe we would qualify for 30 hours funding from April providing I’m back to work.
However I have just discovered that the nursery does not have availability until June 2027!! I am shocked as it’s the nursery my daughter is at and we didn’t sign her up until after she was born. Choosing another nursery is not an option.
My question is this - if baby is born in June 26 an starts nursery June 27, can the funding start straight away? Or will we be made to wait until September as he did not start nursery at the beginning of the new term in April?
