Anyone else with a fussy baby? He has been this way since he’s born. He does laugh and smile a lot but he is always constantly cranky and goes from one to the other very quickly. It’s tough to have rest or leave him alone as he wants constant attention. It’s honestly exhausting…

Needs constant stimulation gets bored quickly - I find being out and about much easier so I do a lot of pram walks / playgrounds/ baby groups/ shops /picnic in parks etc.
I barely ever get a rest. It's so so tiring. And he's really hard work if he's teething or going through a leap etc.
I think they call it a high needs / sensitive baby if you Google it, basically just their personality. 😂 Not much we can do although I hope it might get easier once they're mobile because they can explore more.
Also my boys sleep is rubbish 3-4 wakes on a good night so it's literally non stop 🤣
Gosh same for me. He gets bored so quickly, I always need to entertain him with something else otherwise he just whines… he just wants us around, to be in our arms most of the time! I love him so much but it’s exhausting. I wish he could play baby himself and be content for a bit
Yes 😞 every single day since my boy was born he’s been hard work. You wouldn’t think it from photos we take of him because he has a gorgeous smile 😅 but every single day has been a struggle. I hate to admit that to people because it makes me sound ungrateful but everything’s relative right? He’s only ever cat napped during the day even as a newborn, he’s up all hours in the night. He gets bored roughly 10 mins after every activity I do with him. He’s now started practising screaming 😂 I’m actually looking forward to going back to work which again sounds awful but I can’t cope for much longer! I get zero help from family too which makes it harder. I never felt this way about my daughter. Parent guilt is real 😅
Yes, I have had two of them but my first was harder because she was never happy. My second needs a lot from me but she is a happier baby.
Defo high needs babies - also intelligent!
My eldest grew out of it by about 14/15 months and she’s been a pretty easy toddler (as far as toddlers go). Payback for the first year of her life
@Mim I found going back to work after my first so much easier, and I’ve got a pretty demanding job so that’s saying something 😅
