“I think she’s hungry” *as I just took her off the boob a second ago*

Where are his swaddles? (Same place they’ve been for 5 months)

When he asks me to grab anything for him while holding baby. Lol
Get up and multitask.

(SAHM) Do you mind if I get on the game? Sure not like I haven’t been drooled/throwed up on, changed every single diaper, did every feeding, been screamed at half the day, and didn’t have a moment to myself since the minute I woke up. Also let’s not forget I do all wake-ups while you sleep soundly.

Oh but you work 8 hours in a day leaving you to do whatever you please for the next 8 and sleep peacefully for a full 8 hours AT LEAST. Also at work you get to use the restroom by yourself, have a lunch break, and keep your sanity having actual conversation. But yeah go ahead.

Babe where his clothes at
Babe he’s crying again
Babe I have to work I don’t wanna hear him crying smh
Ughhhh

“Where is his swaddle?”.. as it’s sitting in his crib from the night
“Where’s his ‘whatever size clothes’”.. in his dresser, that’s also labeled by drawer what’s in it

Okay, so it isn't a question, but I asked my husband to go get our four month old daughter (2nd child) an outfit. We keep her outfits in one of the drawers of my dresser. We used to keep her clothes in her brother's room in his closet, but it seemed best to have a drawer for her clothes. Mind you her clothes have been in the drawer for over two months 😅 but I still find him rummaging through our sons closet from time to time.

This drives me nuts! I go back to work Monday (teaching) so I’ve been trying to focus on packing work bags and planning my lessons and mentally transitioning. Husband took the baby and said go do what you gotta do…but I’ve been interrupted so many times I haven’t been able to do anything.
She doesn’t want to be set down, will you hold her while I cook? She pooped, can you change her so I can finish dinner? Help! She spit up everywhere! …yes, I’ve dealt with these things everyday for the past 5 months. You’re intelligent and capable. We have a bouncer and a pack and play and baby carriers and many burp cloths and onesies. Dinner can wait for a diaper change. Figure it out. 😒

I just remind myself daily men weren’t genetically made to have instincts on what the baby needs lol

@Risa neither was I! I learned by doing. Again and again and again. I’m hoping while he’s home with babe the next two weeks he figures out how to do the things without my help.
