I chose not to vaccinate my second baby, seen so many bad things about it. My first baby had that sort of poo when we found out he developed lactose intolerance. You should speak to your GP about it for sure.

This looks like an allergy not rotavirus, I’d contact your GP. My son had similar and it was cows milk protein allergy (it was very mucusy and almost frothy?) not sure if this is similar

I've breastfed since day 1, never given formula and ours has always looked similar to this. I mentioned it loads to HV, midwives etc and noone seemed concerned cus breastfed can be like this. I'm ftm so I don't have any reference as to what's normal but trusting them for now. Waiting for weaning to see what happens then as can't be a cows milk allergy 😂

could you registered the little one to nursery without vaccinations. Unfortunately, we can’t afford to stay home after 11 months

I don’t think there will be any issue with that if she needs to go to a nursery, why would that be a problem? One would think, if she gets anything that she hasn’t been vaccinated against, the other kids would be, right? Besides, some of the vaccines are for sexual transmitted diseases or diseases that have been eradicated already seems a bit odd to me that a baby would need those. When I put my eldest in the nursery they did not ask me to see his red book, or inquired me about vaccines, it was private though, not sure what government nurseries would be like.

My LG has the exact same thing, started after her 8 week rotavirus jab and has been going on since. as it's unusual to last for that long, the GP has now sent off a stool sample and we've paused the next rotavirus dosage at her 12 week jabs, she'll have it once everything is consistent again

Avatar

we sent a sample as well. Awaiting the results…we skip as well her 12 weeks jab too

Avatar

did yours have any other symptoms? The GPs said intolerances or similar seems unlikely as she has absolutely nothing else, no rash and no other symptoms except her poo

Avatar

no symptoms…is happy as usually and we using the same formula since we realised that is not getting enough breast milk day 3

Avatar

we've had results back yesterday and they were normal. The GP will refer us to the community pediatrician to see how long we should let this go on for before introducing any medication / further tests. Have you had your results back yet?

Avatar

yesterday they called us to the gp. Sample come normal and they said will contact the paediatrician for advice because the little one start to have and mucus as well in her stool. Surprised or not today they come back to us saying that is normal and to have the rotavirus vaccine second dose 😏 please let me know what was your outcome

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Strange question

Hello. I would identify myself as asexual but yes i am married and i have a child. But now that ive had my baby. I think its solidified that im done having sex. I feel bad as my partner keeps asking me but i just dont want to. Any advice on what i can do? Any other asexual moms out there? I guess this could be confusing but im not huge on being bound by a label. I have just always felt it represented me best since highschool.
