Hello! I’m a FTM to an 11 week old boy. I’m looking into activities to do with him, and I am really interested in learning more about the Montessori way. What are your favorite resources (books, websites, etc) for learning more? What made other families lean in this direction?

Favourite books and a must buy if your new are by Simone Davies, she does the montessori baby which would be great for you to start with..it has activities and lots of amazing information about the montessori philosophy.
YouTube have a look at 'All Hart' and 'hapa family' just focus on the videos relevant to you childs age and as can be alot to take in

I am an infant and toddler AMS certified guide and I agree with Hayley- the Montessori Baby by Simone Davis is a great introduction to montessori. She offers a bunch of activities you can do by weeks/ months that help nurture their different areas of development such as language and movement!
She also has little workshops on her website (the Montessori Notebook) that you can do
As someone who grew up not in a Montessori setting, I fell in love with the philosophy when I began working part time in a school and saw how capable little children were and how much as a society we tend to underestimate them. I was in awe and wanted to learn more. 15 years later, I am still in awe and enjoy working with my little ones!
