Are sleep bags necessary?

This is probably a really stupid question but…my little one seems to hate sleeping bags! He’s rolling now and always seems to sleep better when he is free to move about. With the recent warm nights I’ve been leaving him in a onesie or a vest. I understand why the bags are useful instead of blankets for safe sleep but if he’s happy in a onesie is that fine?

You can buy sleepsuits that have different togs x

I've noticed recently you can get togged sleepsuits with legs saw them in Sainsbury's that might be an option if it's needed but if they've been fine with the warmer nights that should be fine too. Maybe just keep an eye on the temperature that they arent getting too cold through the night.
They're all so different my baby hated blankets or swaddles from day dot

As it gets warmer I either ditch the sleep bag or have a really thin muslin one. But only cause my children love their sleep bags. My children love their habits 😂

However when it gets colder you can buy sleep suits that have tog ratings. I had one for my eldest it was 2.5tog sleep suit which meant her legs were free. My friend always swears by them as her daughter hated the sleep bags.

Sainsbury’s usually do a really nice range and I have seen the odd one in Tesco too 🙂

We’ve got some of the togged sleepsuits and he sleeps really well in them, better than the bags, I assume because there’s a bit of weight on his legs to prevent him doing the can can at 3am. He’s slept just in a onesie once or twice when it’s been really hot / on holiday but can tell he gets chilly early morning x

They can be helpful as they get older - legs don’t get stuck in cot bars and later on they can’t stand / try and climb out cot!

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?
