Delayed PPD/Struggles with Partner?

Long post ahead… sorry in advance…

Does anyone feel like maybe you have or are starting to get ppd but didn’t before? I’ve been very fortunate to have a very happy and very easy baby (5 months old). Trouble is she co-sleeps at night and only naps for long stretches if she’s on/right next to me. I’ve been trying to gradually work her back into our bedside bassinet for naps and bedtime but she fights it pretty hard. CIO isn’t an option (she’s got hella lungs and will easily go for an hour+), we try rocking/bouncing her to sleep but 9/10 times she wakes up during the transfer… I’m struggling because I want her to nap independently so I can move around our home, exercise in the living room, just feel like a human again; but then I feel guilty because I feel like that’s selfish when she just wants to feel safe and comfy napping with me. I don’t feel like myself lately and I get more snippy at my husband (who is a great guy and dad and supports me however I need it), but I don’t know how to combat the feelings and not get mad at my husband for no reason.

So maybe it’s ppd? Maybe it’s not? Idk if I need advice or just a sister in arms, so thanks if you made it this far 🩷

Unfortunately all I can say is I relate and would like to know others experiences as well.

It’s hard girl 😅 not having a moment to yourself is definitely draining

I’m just here to say that I’ve been having so many issues that just came up in the last month or so. I finally went to my OB because it was getting bad and was diagnosed with moderate/severe PPD and anxiety.

I definitely could if I asked.. my husband is good about taking our daughter for a walk or somewhere out so I can shower or exercise.. he helped with that today and it’s already made a big difference

I do have an appointment later this month so if I’m still feeling this way I’ll definitely bring it up

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?
