My boy has just turned 2. Slight improvements but definitely not much. He is clever and understanding. But doesn’t say much at all just noises. Really struggling with it at the moment as I know my sister silently compares him to other kids she sees and it’s really getting on my nerves. Anyone have any nice positive stories or advice

If you're in the US, have you checked into Early Intervention? I wouldn't compare him to anyone else but the milestones are a good guideline to check if he might benefit from extra support and if you're in the US, Early Intervention is 100% free! My cousin just went through an evaluation with her son and he qualified for speech and in 2 weeks, he already started saying 2 words!
I’m in the UK I’m on the path for speech. It’s a long wait and I can’t afford private I don’t think but I’m doing the best I can x

Every kid takes time , that is not nice what your sister is doing you should tell her and if she dosent stop tell her you are taking a break from her you don't need more stress 😊
