I’m 13 weeks in with my second and my best friend in both newborn periods has been my trusty kitchen fan (yes the one above the hob) - anytime we’re out of options of how to calm my daughter down- we turn on the fan and dance under it. It’s also responsible for sending her to sleep for the few naps she’ll actually take! (And no white noise from a machine/ phone is not good enough apparently 🙄🤣)
I give all praise to my first child’s health visitor who recommended it for my extremely colicky firstborn 😂

Hairdryer, we have a white noise machine but when the screaming starts its the hairdryer that wins haha, she loves it

Our white noise machine is the tumble dryer 🤣

Range hood fan above the stove drowns out everything!!

Loud music, like very loud for a few seconds and she is happy again 😂❤️
I love that household items are so useful in new ways with a newborn! 😂
my daughter has been known to fall asleep to drum and bass 🙃

If they’re struggling to sleep put them in the sun then they’ll keep their eyes closed 😅

Super simple songs 5 Little Ducks would stop her mid-meltdown for the entire first year of her life, the viseo or us singing it. We were gutted when it stopped working after she turned 1.
