Are we making our own or buying them or doing a packet? Any no sugar recipes would be appreciated if you're doing that ๐

Use the "Victoria Sponge" from asda. I used this with my first, im buying it again for my son. Happy to share a pic if u want to see it
that would be amazing thank you ๐ any inspiration is welcome ๐ I'm tossing around so many ideas not sure why I'm being so indecisive!!!

I'm making my own using this toddler friendly cake recipe
https://www.yummytoddlerfood.com/favorite-one-year-old-birthday-cake/
with this frosting
https://www.yummytoddlerfood.com/best-strawberry-cream-cheese-frosting/

I got mine free. Local grocery stores give a free one for their first birthday
My son barely ate any so I wasnโt concerned

Don't worry about the sugar content. I did a cake smash a few weeks ago for photoshoot and she Barley touched any of it.
The photographer said most babies cry or winge when you put it in front of them. My little girl Barley touched it and she eats everything in sight, usually a big eater.
I made my own with lots of frosting.
